This Privacy Policy describes the information practices of northbrookhome.eu (the "Site"). The Site is operated from Poland and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Polish implementing legislation.

1. What data the Site collects

The Site is a static information resource. It does not operate user accounts, subscription lists, or ecommerce functions. The following data may be processed:

  • Contact form submissions: When you use the contact form on the homepage, the name, email address, phone number, and message text you provide are submitted. This data is used solely to respond to the inquiry. No contact form data is stored in a database; the form operates via a JavaScript simulation on this static site and does not transmit data to a backend server. No data is actually stored or sent.
  • Server access logs: The web server hosting this site records standard HTTP access logs (IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp). These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are not shared with third parties.
  • Cookies and local storage: The Site uses localStorage to remember your cookie consent choice. No advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics scripts are loaded on this Site.

2. Legal basis for processing

Server access logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) for the purpose of security monitoring and diagnosing technical errors. No profiling is performed using access log data.

3. Cookies

The Site uses a single localStorage key (cookie_choice) to store your response to the cookie consent banner. This key contains either the value accepted or rejected. It does not contain personal data and is not shared with any party. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

The Site does not set HTTP cookies for analytics, advertising, or session management. External resources loaded from third-party domains (such as Google Fonts CDN for typefaces and Wikimedia Commons for images) may result in connection requests to those domains, which is governed by their respective privacy policies.

4. Third-party services

Images on this site are loaded directly from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licences. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. These connections are made by your browser and are subject to the privacy practices of those providers.

5. Data retention

Server access logs are deleted after 30 days. No other personal data is retained by the Site.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access personal data held about you (Article 15)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16)
  • Erasure of data in certain circumstances (Article 17)
  • Restriction of processing (Article 18)
